Well, I have and it always dried a bit darker that the fabric/ribbon itself. It's not usually a big deal but I found this great stuff that dries clear without changing the color of the fabric. You seriously cannot tell that it's there! I found this bottle of Dritz Fray Check while picking up some quilting supplies and decided to give it a whirl.
Before picture, potential fray hazard.
Apply small amount of Fray Check to the end and let dry.
|All dried! The shadow effect int he picture makes it hard to see but there is NO color difference what so ever!|
The Fray Check actually dries to form a clear plastic film. I'm happy, problem solved!
