Gooey Chocolate Cake

This doesn't cut well and obviously doesn't photograph well because of it but it is delicious!!!  I adapted Gooey Butter Cake to make it a chocolate lover's dream!  It turned out great!  I'm really trying to take better pictures but if it's not the operator (a.k.a. me) it's something like this.  Argh! Oh well...

Ingredients

Cake Mix:
1 - 18 1/4 ounce box of chocolate fudge cake mix
    1 egg
    8 T melted butter

Topping Mix:
1 - 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
    2 eggs
    8 T melted butter
    2 t vanilla extract
    1 pound powdered sugar
5 T chocolate syrup (you know, the Hershey's syrup you use to make chocolate milk...)
-I just wanted to make the topping on the brown/tan side.

To Prepare
1.  Mix Cake Mix ingredients in a mixing bowl.

2.  Pat into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

3.  Mix topping mix with a mixer until smooth, scrap sides a couple times.

4.  Spread over cake mix.

5.  Bake at 350F for 40 - 50 minutes.  Be careful not to over bake, the center should be gooey.

6.  Let cool, cut yourself a piece and enjoy the gooey goodness!  Note that the top of the cake does fall when cooled.
