UV Protected Yard Sign

Fun Tip:  Protect your ward decorations with a Clear UV Protector.  I used Krylon Fusion for Plastics.  It adheres to multiple surfaces.  I'm hoping to protect my new sign from the sun's damaging and fading rays.

Whole House Air Freshener

Whole House Air Freshener:

Pour some vanilla extract into a coffee cup, place in oven at 300F for an hour or so.

Steel told me he wanted to eat what I was making!  I felt so bad that there wasn't any goodies in the oven that he could enjoy.

Reversible Bibs

This a reversible bib that I made using a fun fabric and a coordinating color in terry cloth.  It actually fairly simple and doesn't take too much time to make either.  I also made matching burp cloths with the same fabrics.  I will post on those in a couple of days.  Here are the bunch...

Update:  Check out coordinating Burp Cloths here.

Last Football Post of the Year {Promise}

I ordered pictures from a photographer that took pictures at several games.  Love them!  I just had to show them off.

Onesie Baby Shower

Well, I have posted all week about Jacklyn's Baby Shower.  I'm summing it all up into one post, bringing it all together.  We decorated baby onesies for Baby Gage.  Be sure to click on the links for more information that will take you to my original post with all the details.  I saw many looks of dread on our guests until they realized that it wasn't such a difficult task.  I made sure to include quick and easy solutions for our creatively challenged (or so they think) guests.  Within a few minutes of me giving directions and examples all the guests were busy creating.  It was a lot of fun.  A lot more fun than those silly games that you play at all baby showers.

We started with a bite to eat and some casual conversation.  (Sorry no pics.)

We moved into our activity of decoration onesies:

We made Fabric Applique onesies using double sided fabric webbing.  See more info and How To here

We made Stamped onesies using stamps and fabric paint.  Check out the details here.

We decorated onesies with fabric markers.  Check out the details here.

We even decorated onesies using ready made Iron Ons.  Check out the details here.

We watched as Jacklyn opened her gifts...

I made sure that everyone took a favor to go...  (Check out the favor post here.)

Favors for Jacklyn's Baby Shower:

I spray painted a small basket a baby blue (Krylon Short Cuts):

I filled it with Hershey bars with the HE colored with permanent baby-ish blue marker, tied with a baby boy ribbon:
