Gage's Baby Quilt

I made this for our little grand-baby, Gage, that is due to arrive in January.  Jacklyn, our expectant mother, picked out a Lion King Themed Bedding set.  I thought that this would complement it well.  I bought the fitted crib sheet and the diaper changing cover that went with the set and cut it to use the fabric for this quilt.  I, also, embroidered Gage's name in the center bottom panel.  I hope she likes it!

Buffalo Ranch Chicken

This is great for the Buffalo Chicken fans of the world.  I, seriously, am not sure who doesn't love Buffalo Chicken, then add Hidden Valley Ranch in the mix??  WOW!  Yum!

Basket Makeover

I do like the way that the basket turned out.  My problem lies in where to put it.  I have yet to find a place where I think it looks nice.  It's too large to place on a wooden dresser and it doesn't really too nice on our cream colored carpeting.  Perhaps I should have chosen a smaller basket to paint.  Hmmm... So...until I figure something out, it sits on our cream colored carpeting and holds our Wii controllers and accessories.  Who knows, it may get painted a different color!  

Homework Box

We were in need of a Homework Box to store Steel's supplies to do used to do his homework.  All items are stored neatly inside a storage box.  It definitely needed to be labeled using my Silhouette and vinyl.  Imagine that.  This was a great excuse to bust it out, my Silhouette, that is.  =)

I designed the lettering using Silhouette Studio, cut it out in vinyl using my Silhouette and used transfer tape to transfer it to Steel's Homework Box.  No, I do not get paid to promote the Silhouette, I just love it and love when I find excuses to use it.  =)  I smell a re-organization of our art/craft supply closet that I could label (using vinyl)...  I think that may have to wait until after the new year though.  =(
