Super Hero Sunday - Installment No. 6 - Our Captain is the New Sensation

Imagine our surprise when we went on our trip to Cedar Point last month and we saw all of this memorabilia honoring our very own Captain Primrose.  He has really capivated not only our little city of MOL but his ... is spreading out along the shore of Lake Erie to Sandusky.

Super Hero Capes

I thought you might want to know how to make a cape for your own super hero.  I made the collar a bit too big because I was going for a more resting on the shoulder cape instead of a making a choker.  This didn't work out so well because it doesn't really rest of the shoulder, well it would but you wouldn't be able to move.  lol.  It serves the purpose and if I had to do it over, I would remedy this.

How can we have Super Heroes without capes?!  Well, that was fixed we presented capes to each of our heroes baring their super letters, CP for Captain Primrose and SS for Sidekick Slim Jim.  They look great now don't they?

Super Hero Sunday - Installment No. 4 - Insert Sidekick

Every great Super Hero, like Captain Primrose, needs a Sidekick to have his back when fighting evil and evil doers.  We knew just the guy that would be perfect for the role...

This is Seb.

This is Seb as Sidekick Slim Jim.

On Seb's application for the job, his winning trait was that he could Slim Jim his way into homes in order to let Captain Primrose in to do his job of serving and protecting.

Super Hero Sunday - Installment No.3 - A Throne for Our Captain

A Throne fit for our Captain Primrose?  I think so!  To show our appreciation to our Captain and protector, we gave him a throne that he could call his own.  

I assisted in adding the special personal touches to our Captain's throne...

I cut out his initials and name in vinyl using my Silhouette.  

I adhered them to his throne using transfer tape.

I even put an extra set of initials on the inside of the lid in the event that our Captain forgot and 'Left the seat up'.

My fellow Captain supporters made sure the throne was placed in our Captain's yard for all to see his magical throne.

They even thought of every last detail and used a crowbar so that special paper could be placed conveniently for our Captain.

Seb cannot wait to see our Captain's surprise at our great gift for appreciation.

Super Hero Sunday - Installment No.2 - O Captain! My Captain! Where Art Thou?

Now that Captain Primrose has taken it upon himself to protect his neighbors from evil in our little city of MOL...

We found it imperative that our fellow citizens know how to find our great protector when in need.  What better way than to have a sign, baring his great name, erected in the front of his humble abode?!  Well, that is exactly what his closest supporters did!

There you have it!  There should be no confusion as to where to find our Captain when the need may arise.  For all you Damsels in Distress...

Our modest Captain Primrose didn't want all this special treatment but he was reassured if the sign was moved in anyway, it could (and WOULD) be re-erected in cement.  He reluctantly agreed that the sign could stay.

Here in the MOL, we have a self-proclaimed Super Hero!  He calls himself Captain Primrose.

CAPTAIN PRIMROSE!
